What happens when, suddenly, everything around us stops? When we stop? If we remain, deliberately, in that strange limbo between one breath and the next? In daily life stopping is rare. Unprofitable. And yet, when we do stop – or are stopped – what then?
Alberto Cisselloʼs solo POINT FIXE is a conversation with the void – a dialogue in which every pause between actions, gestures, and words becomes an opening, a possibility. The title comes from a mime technique: fixing an imaginary point in space and making something invisible become real and present.
In this performance, the audience is invited to engage with the pause – with suspense, with suspension – through a delicate and playful experience where absence takes shape. The piece is bursting with absurd humour, subtle gestures and unexpected twists, and above all, Alberto Cissello's magnificent performance makes POINT FIXE an entertaining trip into the world of nothingness.
