Scope
These house rules are usage regulations. They apply to all premises, including associated outdoor areas, of the SZENE Gastronomy and the SZENE Theater and regulate the conditions for all persons staying in these premises, especially for gastronomy guests and theater visitors.
Stay
Access to the generally accessible premises of the gastronomy and theater is only permitted to guests and visitors during the respective opening hours. Access to other areas is only permitted to persons professionally active in these areas. Theater visitors are only allowed access to the event area if they meet the attendance conditions (e.g., possession of a ticket, an invitation, etc.). Latecomers are usually only allowed access during a break if the respective event has a break. There is no right to a refund or exchange of tickets due to late arrival.
Behavior
All persons in the premises of the SZENE Gastronomy and the SZENE Theater must behave in such a way that no one is harmed, endangered, obstructed, or harassed, and nothing is damaged or destroyed. Racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory propaganda material
Removal of notices, posters, plaques, etc.
Film and sound recordings, except in the gastro area for private purposes
Littering or leaving waste lying around
Placing items in escape routes, exits, passageways, and stairwells
Consumption of tobacco and related products
Advertising activities, sales transactions, or collections of any kind, unless previously approved by the gastronomy or the theater
Exceeding the curfew times according to the Salzburg Youth Act
Additionally prohibited in the theater:
Cans, bottles, and non-shatterproof containers
Backpacks, bags, umbrellas, and bulky overcoats
Mobile phones without silent mode
Depending on the nature of the event, eating and drinking
Sound and Image Recordings
In the case of photo, TV, film, and video recordings authorized by the gastronomy or the theater, gastronomy guests and theater visitors agree to these recordings, which may also include images of their person, as well as their unrestricted publication.
Liability
Every person who stays in the premises of the SZENE Gastronomy or the SZENE Theater acknowledges that they are there at their own risk. The gastronomy and/or theater assumes no liability for any property or personal injuries. This also applies to health damage due to volume or photosensitivity. Gastronomy guests, theater visitors, organizers, their employees, artists, and subcontractors are liable for property and personal injuries they cause to the SZENE Gastronomy or the SZENE Theater or their employees. Violations of the house rules may result in criminal or civil penalties. Accidents or damages must be reported immediately to the staff of the gastronomy or the theater.
