Seit 2008 bringt Hip Hop goes Theatre internationale und österreichische Künstler*innen des Urban Dance auf die Bühne der SZENE Salzburg. Am 25. und 26. September geht Hip Hop goes Theatre in die nächste Runde. Highlight 2026 ist Splice - ein Projekt des britischen Choreographinnen-Duos Hannah Ekholm und Faye Stoeser, das New Way Voguing, Threading, Bone Breaking und zeitgenössischen Tanz verbindet.
Flavourama, one of Europe’s leading festivals for hip-hop and house dance, is back in town. The highlight will be the Flavourama World Finals this coming Saturday, where the best dancers from the international pre-selection rounds will compete in hip-hop and house dance.

At a walking-dance class organised by Flavourama, the enthusiastic audience was treated to a dynamic presentation of the SOMMERSZENE programme, with Salzburg city centre serving as the stage.
The Walking Dance Classes hosted by Flavourama will turn the Salzburg city centre into a stage. Dancers from street and club styles such as hip hop, breaking, house dance, waacking and many more will guide members of the public from one SOMMERSZENE venue to the next and offer insights into a selection of performances from this summerʼs festival.
