The installation Terrain transforms the SZENE Theater into a multi-layered landscape shaped around large objects. These serve both as loudspeakers and screens for light projections and offer viewers an interactive experience. The starting point is our changing state of consciousness while walking: »walking is a state in which the mind, the body and the world align«, writes the author Rebecca Solnit.
Terrain is an immersive performance, in which the protagonists and the audience embark on a shared journey. They observe, experience and inhabit the space for a time, but also change it through their influence. The subtly designed multimedia environment creates a balance between rest and action.
