DANCE ILLUSIONS
Between appearance and reality, the 200 dance students of the Musisches Gymnasium whirl in their annual final performances on stage. With a wealth of ideas, the 10- to 18-year-olds prepare their performance: self-conceived fiction, fantastic stories, mysterious fairy tales, glamorous movies, exotic countries, fabulous creatures, distorted movements, and diverse personalities inspire the choreographed illusions in all kinds of dance styles. Choreographers and dance teachers Alicia Kidman, Claudia Krippl, Silvia Obereder, Nina Minimayr, and Astrid Weger-Purkhart, together with the dance.team.musgym, create performances that are as enchanting as they are varied.
