How long is one minute? Is it a fleeting instant or an eternity? Time, as simple as it seems, is perceived differently by each of us. For some, a minute drags endlessly at a bus stop; for others, it disappears in the thrill of breaking a world record. Now imagine humanity vanishing from Earth – in whatever way. One day, humanish life will return to this planet. When it does, what will they find from us? X Human Minutes explores this question through snapshots of human existence – ordinary moments, funny occasions, moving encounters. X Human Minutes is an archive, a time capsule in which every second counts. Mainly young people fill it with various minutes from their own lives, those of relatives, chance acquaintances, pets, bus stops, microbes, etc. The Capsule of Memory is then closed together with the audience, or does anyone else have anything to add?

This project is the fourth cooperation between the Sommerszene and the Master's program Applied Theatre - Critical Theatre Practice & Community of the Thomas Bernhard Institute at the Mozarteum University.
