BODHI PROJECT & Antonin Rioche with New Faces New Dances at SZENE Salzburg
The title of the piece translates as “as if everything were about to end” and is inspired by the intensity of our modern lives: our relationships with ourselves, with others, with work, with our cell phone addiction, and with the virtual world, which is increasingly intertwined with the real world.
As we constantly move between real and virtual spaces, it becomes unclear which one shapes us the most. The piece explores this overwhelming tension: how it all feels like too much, almost apocalyptic, as if it were on the verge of collapse.
The choreography platform New Faces New Dances presents a current showcase of trendsetting tendencies in dance and has become an important source of inspiration for the Salzburg dance scene.
