FEMINIST SCHOOL

From 23 to 26 November, to complement the performance programme, SZENE Salzburg hosts the Feminist School at and around Stadtgalerie Lehen.

Throughout these four days a comprehensive programme of workshops, walks, discussions, lectures and screenings will be available to students of Universität Mozarteum Salzburg and the dance academy SEAD, to facilitate a practice-oriented and discursive exchange between the students and artists of the apap network and beyond. In addition, selected events will be accessible to a wider audience.

The Feminist School is intended to be a place where people can learn from each other and an opportunity to get to know various concepts of and experiences related to feminism; a place where a multitude of forms of expression, different ways of embodying, sharing and practicing these principles, enter into a dialogue, infor- ming and inspiring each other. In addition to the practice-oriented events the Feminist School also creates time and space for reflection, discussion, idleness, celebration, and encountering feminist texts and films in a relaxed environment.

Artistic inputs:
Niki Awandee, buren, Ana Dubljević, Jule Flierl, Ulrike Hatzer/Applied Theatre, Claudia Heu/Axel Brom, Imani Kai Johnson, Anne Lise Le Gac, Olivia Mitterhuemer, Harun Morrison, Stephanie Winter

Special thanks to:
