Will they throw their lostness together?
Will they stand in solidarity? Fight with each other instead of against each other?
Their collective, multiplied powerlessness could form a strength no one anticipated.
This is both a threat and a promise.
They are people, just like you and me. Vulnerable, anxious, unique. Occasionally aggressive. Sometimes happy. In solidarity. Selfish.
They see, hear, smell, and feel the world, just like we do.
They live as we do. Yet, they don’t live as we do.
They are underdogs.
At times surreal and dreamlike in their solitude, at other times furiously whirling in a group:
The top-class six-member ensemble combines partnering, acrobatics, synchronously rhythmic group choreographies, and elements of drama to create poetic yet tension-filled variations on themes of isolation and conformity, the pressure of competition, and the strength of solidarity at the margins of our society.
