Final performance of the dance classes of the Musisches Gymnasium
Normal is something else entirely – this has been the guiding motto of the Muses for 59 years as they move through the world, and this year, they land at SZENE Salzburg. In their final performance, Out of the Box, over 200 dance students from the Musisches Gymnasium step out of their comfort zones, leap from their everyday routines into fantastic visual stories, give it their all with heart and passion, revel in chaos, peek out of their boxes into new dance worlds – and hold nothing back!
With boundless creativity, these 10- to 18-year-old dancers break through movement barriers. Choreographers and dance teachers Alicia Holzer-Kidman, Claudia Krippl, Silvia Obereder, Nina Minimayr, and Astrid Weger-Purkhart, together with the dance.team.musgym, create performances that are humorous, thought-provoking, and thoroughly entertaining.
Following the Saturday evening performance, the Musisches Gymnasium invites its fans – and especially former dancers – to the first-ever Alumni Dance Party! Join and dance with us, out of the box!
