Local Lab with Babsi Földesi
This week, Circus Tanz Labor is our guest at SZENE Studio: At the Local Lab with Babsi Földesi, the Salzburg-based choreographer and dancer presents her research findings on Wing Tsun, dance, and contemporary circus.
This Local Lab is both a movement research practice and a pedagogical try-out. Over the years, Babsi Földesi´s dance practice has been shaped by movement research, Wing Tsun and balance disciplines in circus. Rather than teaching these practices themselves, she is interested in the physical principles they share and how they have informed her way of moving. The workshop explores how these principles can be communicated through language, physical tasks, and exercises.
